  • The Boise Weekly made my day today. There used to be a cool buttrawk bar in town (it closed during my duration in Oregon unfortunately) that had the best multi-drinker bucket drinks EVER. The name was even cool, The Derailer. Well, good ole BW provided the recipe.

You'll need a big bucket or a small vat for this one. 2 c. rum, 2 c. gin, 2 c. vodka, 2 c. amaretto almond liqueur, 1 c. triple sec, 2 c. peach schnapps, 1 c. grenadine, 1 gallon cranberry juice, 1 can grapefruit juice, 2 c. sloe gin, 1 bottle Sprite. Mix all well and add the Sprite when you're just about ready to serve.
If that doesn't say PARTY!!!, I don't know what does. The year I turned 21, a friend of mine from Idaho Falls came up to visit me and we drank a ton of other stuff, then split a derailer (I'm not sure how much it was, but it was SMALLER THAN THIS RECIPE MAKES. He ended up puking all over Merritt's while I ate some scones. Good Times.

Happy 4th of July!

Independance Edition of Junk in the Trunk

  • Happy Independance Day Everyone!!!!!

  • Beauticontrol used to make this Bamboo scent/lotion that I absolutely adore. They discontinued it (of course) and now I'm at a loss. I depleted my mom and aunt's stashes (they're both consultants) and now I am cut off and almost out of my last bottles. If anyone knows of a similar fragrance, please enlighten me.

  • Spidey 2 - The Peril of Doc Ork - DONE IN LEGOS! I think I liked this better than the movie!

  • Good God! That's a metric ton of cum!....NSFW

  • Princess Hears a Strange Noise! - also NSFW, but hilarious!

  • I took the 20 Questions to being a Better Person Quiz and here are my results:
Your score as a human being is 80.3.

You are close to ideal. So close, and yet so far. Amusing, really, to watch someone squirm so close to the vaunted ranks of perfection and still remain so very, very ordinary. It is all one can do to keep one's ingratiating smile from polluting one's perfect face.

Actually, one recommends you take the quiz again and lie a little.

Really, I'm not that bad....Maybe a little insensitive at times..

  • I also took The other 20 Questions to a Better Personality Quiz - and got these results:
You are an SRCF--Sober Rational Constructive Follower. This makes you a White House staffer. You are a tremendous asset to any employer, cool under pressure, productive, and a great communicator. You feel the need to right wrongs, take up slack, mediate disputes and keep the peace. This comes from a secret fear that business can't go on without you--or worse, that it can.

If you have a weakness, it is your inability to say "no." While your peers respect you, they find it difficult to resist taking advantage of your positive attitude and eagerness to take on work. You depend on a good manager to keep you from sinking under the weight and burning out.

    How accurate does THAT sound?

  • Will the 2004 Election Be Called Off?

  • She had an unequalled gift... of squeezing big mistakes into small opportunities. - Henry James

  • A citizen of America will cross the ocean to fight for democracy, but won't cross the street to vote in a national election. - Bill Vaughan - I can't really say how much this pisses me off. FFS.

Have a HAPPY INDEPENDANCE Day everyone!
